The Role: Manager - Procurement Consultant, Value Creation

Are you an experienced procurement consultant ready to take your career to the next level? Do you thrive in leading high-impact projects and working closely with senior stakeholders? If you have a passion for procurement and a track record of delivering value optimization, this is the opportunity for you. You must have a consultancy background at this level, and a preference to having worked on clients in heavy industries or the public sector (including utilities/energy)

Join a dynamic team and take ownership of driving procurement cost savings and value creation for a diverse client base, while also contributing to business development and consultancy growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead exciting procurement consulting projects and manage client relationships. Projects range from cost out and value creation to procurement transformation
  • Develop and execute cost-saving initiatives across indirect spend categories ie. Opportunity assessment, workshopping ideas with the client, followed by project delivery/implementation
  • Drive supplier negotiations and contract implementations
  • Manage high-performing consulting teams, coaching and developing individuals
  • Contribute to business development, practice growth, and methodology enhancement

Key Skills:

  • Proven leadership in procurement consultancy, particularly in value optimization and change programs
  • Must be able to be hands on in delivery as well as leading teams
  • Strong project management skills and experience in delivering procurement outcomes
  • Indirect category experience e.g. IT, FM, Professional Services, Marketing etc.
  • Excellent client relationship management and communication skills

What is in it for you:

  • New cash injection/investment into the business of late, opening up opportunities for further business growth
  • Autonomy - a growing part of the business where you will be given a lot of autonomy to drive your own area and influence the wider business. E.g. if you wanted to start a new division
  • Stability - UK consultancy arm function independently but are supported and protected by the resources of the wider global group
  • Work life balance
  • Growth and development opportunities
