New to the UK market, this successful VC backed FinTech, with established overseas operations is looking for an ambitious UK Lead to help drive their UK presence

This is a unique opportunity to establish, operate and grow a new market for a well established but fast growing fintech 'scale-up' in the payments domain.

The Country Lead will be at the forefront of our expansion plans, which will require your experience and passion to navigate uncertainty, structure and execute plans with confidence and quickly optimise your actions to launch the business successfully

Given the companies nascent presence in the UK, this person will have a wide domain of operation with the support of a global team to deliver and drive the success of the market.

The role holder will benefit from working with an experienced global team, and support the execution of projects out-of-market and lead the delivery of in-market initiatives. They will be adept and familiar with 'starting at 0' and building a high performance organisation and culture around you.

This role would suit management consultants or start-up practitioners with 6 - 10 years of experience, and deep understanding and practice in the Financial Services industry. Business Banking, Retail Banking and Payment experience is highly regarded.

The ideal person will be/have:

• Experience in a high growth, fast paced, technology based company
• Experience in financial services, with particular preference given over payments issuing, acquiring and bank rails experience
• Understanding of regulatory environment, including licensing and continued compliance obligations with regulators
• Sound commercial experience with negotiating contracts with vendors and partners
• Capable of working cross functionally - from Group through to leading functional teams
• P&L responsibility, - C-suite or Executive management experience.
