Nursery Room Leader Level 3

Location: Nunhead SE15

Salary: £24.450 £27,000 per year

Hours: 8 hour shift Monday to Friday

Contract: Full-time Permanent

Plus Staff Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of our client who is looking for a Nursery Room Leader (experience room leader) for their established private nursery located in Nunhead

Responsibilities for Nursery Room Leader

To work effectively in partnership with other team members, parents and outside professionals

Part taking in the nursery s daily routine and ensuring the highest level of childcare is being delivered

To organise the daily running of the room, including staff breaks, outings, reviewing observations, completing the rota etc

To supporting and motivating your team with team effectiveness strategies

Ensuring that the children in the nursery are safe at all times and being vigilant for signs of abuse or neglect.

Completing regular training to progress personal and professional development.

Requirements for Nursery Room Leader

Previous experience as a Nursery Practitioner/Nursery Nurse and/or as a Room Leader.

Minimum full and relevant Level 3 Early Years Qualification

A positive, welcoming attitude and good communication skills

Safeguarding knowledge

Commitment to delivering a high level of childcare and customer service

Excellent personal presentation standards

The ability to work effectively and positively as part of a team

Flexibility to work hours as determined by the business, this is a full-time position working 40 hours per week across 5 days.

Effective communication skills and ability to lead a team.
