Job description

  • Job Title - Operational Resilience - Risk Business Partner
  • Salary - £80,000 + 10-15% Bonus
  • This is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract
  • Hybrid working - 2 days per month
  • Location - London or Hertfordshire or Dublin

What you will enable us to accomplish

  • Represent Technology Risk Management in pertinent forums and submit reports to the Technology Risk & Operational Resilience Officer, Europe.
  • Oversee and assist in the management of information security and technology risk for European business lines, making sure that they are in pace with new market trends and risks.
  • Improve the framework for process, risk, and IT control while assisting with policy and regulatory compliance.
  • Assist the OCIO Risk & Security team and 1LOD Technology Risk & Security Leads in identifying, measuring, managing, and advising on regulatory compliance.
  • Provide independent risk assessments and views in order to assist business 1LOD Technology Risk & Security Leads and CROs/Heads of Risk in managing first-line risk activities.
  • Relative to risk appetites, update executive and board forums on the state of technology and information security risks.

Experience and knowledge:

  • Proven risk management expertise with necessary risk qualifications, including experience with technology and information security operations.
  • It is desirable if a SME has expertise in at least one technical area, such as cloud computing, technology infrastructure, cyber security, or SDLC.
  • Knowledge of the NIST and COBIT technology risk management frameworks in large corporations.
  • The capacity to grow in maturity and understanding of risk.
  • Knowledge of regulatory and compliance issues, especially in European situations.
  • Knowledge of technological advancements and market trends.
  • Proficiency in managing stakeholders.
  • A certification in IT compliance or security (such as CRISC, CGEIT, CISM, or CISSP) is preferred.
