Imperial Hotels London

40 hours a week Monday - Friday

£40,000 + Benefits

The portfolio includes The Royal National Hotel which remains UK largest hotel with over 1,600 rooms, The Bedford Hotel, The President Hotel, The Tavistock Hotel, The Morton Hotel and our newly acquired IHG Branded Holiday Inn Bloomsbury. Following a major refurbishment, The Imperial Hotel will open as ILH flagship 4 Deluxe Hotel in 2026.

We re looking for an enthusiastic and engaging individual to join our People and Development team at our training academy near Russell Square, central London. As a key member of our team, you ll play a vital role in Developing, Nurturing and Achieving great career growth for our teams and that every team member has memorable stay whilst working with us.

What you ll be doing

Reporting to the Learning and Development Manager, you will work with our Head of People and Development to Lead on the design and delivery of our in-house training and development programs.

Working in partnership with the Hotel Managers, Heads of departments and Senior leadership/management, you will help design, deliver and evaluate in-house operational and skills development courses/workshops. Working in line with legislation, SOPs, brand and industry standards and acknowledged best practice. You will be responsible for assessing the training needs and analyses for individuals, teams and departments.

Supporting 800+ Managers and employees here at Imperial London Hotels. This is a hands-on operational position where you will work in a small team, we are looking for an individual who is passionate about people and who wants to work in partnership with our hotels to deliver quality Learning and development support. This role would suit someone who will thrive in an environment where you can problem solve and deliver results. We want someone who will look into new ways of training and lead a proactive approach to talent development across the portfolio.

What we want from you

  • Experience working in a hospitality/retail environment
  • Minimum 3 years experience within a Learning & Development role
  • Familiarity of the full training cycle
  • Proven experience gained in training at a 3 to 5 star hotel
  • LMS experience ideally Mapal One.
