Portfolio Manager

Location: Peterborough
Salary: £27,000 per annum, OTE £30,000
Reports To: Leasing Services Team Leader / Onsite Building Manager

Role Summary:

We are looking for a driven Leasing Services Portfolio Manager to join our client s team in Peterborough. In this role, you'll be responsible for managing and enhancing a residential portfolio, ensuring top-notch performance, compliance, and customer satisfaction. You'll collaborate closely with clients, tenants, and contractors to ensure that all activities adhere to service level agreements and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the lettings process, working with local and specialist teams to minimise vacancies.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations across the portfolio.
  • Regularly evaluate and improve the performance of your assigned portfolio.
  • Participate in corporate client meetings to discuss lettings strategies and report on vacant properties.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients.
  • Conduct regular property visits to all units within your portfolio.
  • Manage repairs and maintenance, ensuring service levels are consistently met (through the Tenant Services team).
  • Source and manage local sub-agents to achieve the best results.
  • Ensure all required documentation is signed and returned by sub-agents.
  • Address tenant queries and complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Prepare and submit detailed weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports.
  • Oversee budgeting and ensure all processes and procedures are up to date.
  • Work closely with other teams and departments to ensure high levels of efficiency.

Experience & Skills Required:

  • Experience in residential lettings or asset management.
  • Strong IT skills and technical literacy.
  • Excellent organizational, prioritization, and time management abilities.
  • High attention to detail and strong communication skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client and team relationships.
  • High energy, enthusiasm, and a commitment to self-improvement and team success.
