With a strong focus on creativity, collaboration, and client satisfaction, my client is committed to delivering high-quality design solutions that enhance the built environment.

My client is looking for a highly organized and proactive Practice Manager to join the team and help them run a growing business effectively. The successful candidate will be a key part of our leadership team, ensuring that operations are efficient, and the practice functions smoothly while supporting the delivery of exceptional architectural projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Practice Operations: Oversee day-to-day operational management of the practice, ensuring smooth workflows and processes, including office management, resource allocation, and project coordination.
  • Financial Management: Manage budgets, monitor cash flow, and work closely with senior leadership on financial planning and reporting, including invoicing, payroll, and expense tracking.
  • Human Resources: Support recruitment, onboarding, and performance management processes. Lead employee engagement initiatives, manage staff welfare, and ensure adherence to HR policies.
  • Business Development: Assist in preparing proposals, tenders, and contracts. Collaborate with the marketing team to identify new opportunities and support the growth of the practice.
  • IT and Systems Management: Oversee IT and software systems, ensuring they are up-to-date and effectively supporting project delivery and practice operations.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate administrative and support staff, ensuring they have the resources needed to succeed. Foster a positive, collaborative working culture.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience: Proven experience in office management, operations, or practice management within an architectural practice, design consultancy, or similar creative environment.
  • Financial Acumen: Strong experience in financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks) is desirable.
  • Leadership: Excellent leadership and people management skills, with experience in HR, team development, and fostering a collaborative work culture.
  • Organizational Skills: Highly organized with exceptional multitasking abilities and a keen attention to detail.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams effectively.
