Project Manager/Business Analyst - Operational Resilience

Emagine Consulting - Investment Banking

£500 - £580 per day (inside IR35)

London - Onsite 3 days a week

Overview: We are looking for a Project Manager/Business Analyst (PM/BA) to augment our current project management capacity, which is focused on operational resilience regulations such as DORA. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving the project towards its key milestones, with a delivery deadline of January 2025.

Working closely with the project team, you will be responsible for managing timelines, coordinating efforts across teams, and ensuring that all deliverables are on track. In addition to managing the project, you may also be expected to assist with business analysis tasks, including supporting analysis and review work alongside the team. Familiarity with cybersecurity, operational resilience, and information security (InfoSec) frameworks would be an advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide project management support for the DORA programme, coordinating timelines, milestones, and deliverables to ensure on-time completion.

  • Manage planning, communication, and organisation of the project, keeping all stakeholders aligned and focused on the key deliverables for January 2025.

  • Work closely with the project team to identify gaps, prioritise tasks, and manage workloads across multiple stakeholders.

  • Assist with business analysis tasks, including analysing data, reviewing documentation, and supporting project activities as required.

  • Roll up your sleeves to get involved in hands-on project tasks where needed, supporting the wider team to meet critical deadlines.

  • Provide updates on project progress and risks to senior management and key stakeholders.

  • Knowledge of cybersecurity, operational resilience, and InfoSec frameworks is a plus.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager, Business Analyst, or in a combined PM/BA role, ideally within a financial services environment.

  • Strong organisational, communication, and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple moving parts and keep the project on track.

  • Familiarity with operational resilience regulations such as DORA, GDPR, or similar, and a good understanding of their impact on financial institutions.

  • Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with various teams to drive successful project outcomes.

  • Comfortable with supporting analysis and hands-on project activities when required.

  • Knowledge of cybersecurity or operational resilience frameworks is a plus.

Desirable:

  • Experience working on large-scale regulatory projects within investment banking or financial services.

  • Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver within tight timelines.

  • Familiarity with other regulatory frameworks like GDPR, Basel III, or Solvency II would be an advantage.
