QUALIFIED DENTAL NURSE IN CENTRAL LONDON

We are seeking a bright, proactive, and well-organized experience nurse to join our team in Central London. The role primarily involves assisting with dental implants, along with some general dentistry.

In addition to being punctual, fluent in English, and computer literate, your skills would need to include being knowledgeable in all treatment setups, including but not limited to crown preps, extractions, composite fillings, root canal treatment, full mouth periodontal charting, panoramic x-ray taking and x-ray developing.

Dental Nurse Role and Responsibilities
Providing chairside assistance to clinicians with various dental procedures.
Following practice protocols and maintaining excellent infection prevention and control standards.
Supporting senior nurses with audits and other regulatory tasks.
Liaising with other departments and ensuring the patient journey is adhered to throughout all appointments.

Must have GDC registration.

Salary:
You will start with a fair and competitive salary, dependent on your experience in this field, and increase over time with progression and development.

Experience:
dental nursing: 1 year (preferred)

License/Certification:
GDC registration (required)

Work authorization:

Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Perform basic dental procedures such as teeth cleaning and fluoride treatments
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records

Requirements:
- Valid certification or license as a Dental Nurse
- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments
- Proficient in taking vital signs and recording medical information accurately
- Familiarity with medical coding and billing processes
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and dental team members
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
