Risk Consultant (BCBS 239)-

London- (Hybrid)

As a Risk management SME you will translate and embed the enterprise-wide data management capabilities framework in Risk Management and advise, control and support your stakeholders with performing data advisory within BCBS239.

BCBS239 will be the key focus area. You will be in close contact with the different risk owners and facilitate the road towards BCBS 239 compliance. You will provide overview, guidance and support, but also challenge where needed.

You will be the go-to person for BCBS239 related topics, for instance the identification of critical data elements, setting data quality requirements and capturing data lineage. You will also monitor the progress and report to senior management.

Extensive skill set with domain expertise in BCBS239, risk and compliance frameworks, and analogous approaches to compliance measurement and assessment (eg SOX)
You have project management skills
You have knowledge of and experience in Risk Management in Banking (minimum 5 years), and demonstrable affinity

Engage stakeholders including Risk Division, Business FO, IT, Finance and Operations to ensure a clearly defined and accepted view of BCBS 239 compliance target state

Proven ability to communicate and influence effectively with senior management
