Excellent opportunity for a Senior Corporate Solicitor to join a progressive, Top 40 UK Law Firm in London.

The Firm

Our client is a highly reputable full-service Law Firm with offices in all of the UK's major cities and therefore, they have an exceptional reputation across the country.

Whilst the firm are based in the UK, many of their clients are based internationally and through their worldwide network of trusted partners, they pride themselves of having a truly global reach.

The firm advise multinational corporations (including household names), start-ups and HNWI's in their key sectors - health, private wealth, education, insurance, charities, agriculture, real estate investment, food and beverage, sport and technology.

Their reputable corporate group are looking to make a pivotal team hire and bring on a Senior Associate to join their London team.

The Opportunity

They have a very well-established Corporate group who are accredited for the expertise by the Legal 500 in Venture Capital and Equity Capital Markets.

The team advise clients ranging from start-ups and spinouts, through to substantial companies, management teams and institutions on a broad range of corporate issues and transactions. Much of the work will involve an international aspect.

As a Senior Corporate Solicitor, you will be responsible for:

• A broad mix of corporate work including M&A, corporate finance, private equity and venture capital, fundraising, shareholder agreements and joint ventures

• As well as general corporate advisory work

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and experienced Corporate Solicitor to work directly with the Head of Corporate and Head of Venture Capital, both of whom are award-winning leaders in their field.

Requirements:

• Qualified Corporate Solicitor with between 4 - 6 yrs' PQE
• Ability to confidentially run transactional work
• Strong experience in M&A is mandatory and experience in VC funds and investment rounds is desirable
• Genuine interest in participating marketing and business development activities
• Desire to mentor and coach junior team members
