Interim Senior Fire Safety Advisor
Location: London
Day rate 400 (Inside IR35)

Irwin and Colton have been engaged by The University of the Arts London to lead on the recruitment for an exciting Interim Senior Fire Safety Advisor position. The University is widely recognised as one of the most prestigious art schools globally and operates across an incredibly varied estate. This role will report directly to the Director of Health and Safety and work closely with the Health and Safety team.

Responsibilities of the Interim Senior Fire Safety Advisor will include:

• Engaging internally to share best practice and ideas, constantly assessing opportunities for improvement and innovation
• Promote a positive fire and health and safety culture in the workplace
• Deliver a range of services including fire risk assessments, investigations, inspections and training as required across the site
• Managing contracted services across multiple facilities

The successful Interim Senior Fire Safety Advisor will have:

• Diploma in Fire Safety or ideally working towards a Diploma
• Proven fire safety experience ideally within a higher education background or a similar, largescale estate
• Excellent communication skills both verbally and written
• Experience of managing a diverse range of stakeholders
