Good Afternoon,

I am currently representing Sutton Housing Partnership, who are offering an initial temporary contract for a period of 3-6 months with a view to be extended or offered a permanent position for the right candidate at a rate of 20.57 which is negotiable dependent upon experience.

We are looking for a Skilled Repairs Operative this role will be: SM1 4LE

The right candidate will:

• A skilled trades person specialising in jetting and or Skyvac operator.
• You will join the in house DLO that provides a responsive repairs and voids service for properties throughout the stock.
• The team will clear debris and blockages from gutters and downpipes on a cyclical basis.
• Attend reactively to blocked stacks and manholes and waste outlet.
• Undertake all aspects of repairs, maintenance, renewals and replacements ranging from routine reactive repairs to major renewals of installations in occupied and void properties.
• Responsible for ensuring that any follow-on or related repair works are identified where these cannot be completed during the first visit.

We require the following:

• Able to diagnose faults and defects and identify cost effective repair solutions.
• Fully competent to carry out repairs, maintenance, renewals and replacements in a specialist trade.
• Experience of working as part of a team in a multi-skilled environment.
• The post requires a clean and valid driving licence.
