Syndicate Accountant - Lloyd's Syndicate - London - £80,000 - £90,000

Your new company
I am working with a fast-growing Lloyd's syndicate looking to hire a syndicate accountant. This is an innovative, fast-paced business with ambitious growth plans. The role is an important position within the syndicate finance team with good exposure to senior business leaders.

Your new role
Key duties and responsibilities include:

  • Preparation and review of all Lloyd's regulatory returns including QMA, QMB, QSR, SII.
  • Timely and accurate production of all syndicate reporting.
  • Driving efficiencies across finance systems, reporting and controls.
  • Support in the production of group reporting.
  • Stakeholder management across a wide range of senior stakeholders.
  • Mentorship of junior team members.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be a qualified accountant with a strong technical knowledge of the Lloyd's market. You will need good UK GAAP, Solvency II, Lloyd's and syndicate reporting experience as well as IFRS in the insurance sector. You will need strong communication and be capable of building strong working relationships with a range of stakeholders.
