Job description
Streatham and Clapham High School (SCHS) is looking for a dynamic, energetic and inspirational Teacher of French to join our thriving Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) department.
You will deliver stimulating and engaging lessons to our students, promoting excellent attainment and helping your pupils to fulfil their potential and develop their proficiency in the French language.
You'll be a well-qualified teacher with excellent professional and subject knowledge, and a demonstrable passion for French. You'll also be able to teach French across the school at KS3, GCSE and A-Level. The ability to teach Spanish would be an advantage.
The MFL Department
The MFL department is made up of a team of seven teachers and three language assistants. Co-curricular activities, competitions, residential trips abroad and regular attendance at conferences, lectures and the theatre, all play an integral part in the MFL programme to develop a rounded and culturally rich approach to the fulfilments of pupils' potential.
