Salary: £15.70 per hour (40 hours per week)
Additional Pay: Sleep-in shifts paid at £70.50 per shift

Role Overview:
We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Team Leader to oversee and support a team of Residential Childcare Workers. The ideal candidate will ensure high standards of care and compliance, guiding the team to create a positive atmosphere for the children in our care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, supervise, and support the residential care team.

  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in the home.

  • Develop and implement individualized care plans.

  • Maintain compliance with regulations and organizational policies.

  • Act as a role model with professional behavior and practice.

  • Manage household operations for efficient daily functioning.

  • Conduct regular team meetings and performance assessments.

  • Collaborate with external agencies, parents, and stakeholders.

  • Participate in sleep-in shifts as part of the 7-day rotating schedule.

Essential Requirements:

  • Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent).

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.

  • Flexibility to work a variable shift pattern across all 7 days.

Desirable:

  • A valid driving licence (highly preferred to support operational needs).
