A global leader in driving customer loyalty and engagement, partnering with many of the world's largest brands, are looking for a VP of Product Strategy to join their team. They serve over 400 million consumers across the globe with a diverse range of products and services and continually strive to deliver superior customer experiences through cutting-edge products and services.
About the Role
We are looking for a visionary Vice President of Product Strategy to lead the development and execution of innovative strategies that shape the future of luxury hospitality and elevate our brand. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the product vision, ensuring that our offerings align with market trends, customer needs, and brand identity.
You will collaborate closely with senior leadership to define a compelling product roadmap, conduct in-depth market research, analyse competitors, and translate customer feedback into actionable insights. This is a senior leadership role where you will directly influence the direction of our product strategy and report into the CPO.
Key Responsibilities
- Craft the Vision: Partner with senior leadership to develop and execute a product strategy and roadmap that aligns with the brand's values, customer personas, and market demands.
- Market Awareness: Stay ahead of industry trends by conducting comprehensive market research and competitor analysis to anticipate customer needs and emerging opportunities.
- Data-Driven Optimisation: Use performance metrics, customer feedback, and market trends to guide product improvements and iterations.
- Proposition Development: Lead the creation of detailed product briefs, including key features, pricing strategies, and go-to-market plans.
- Execution Leadership: Oversee the end-to-end product development life cycle, ensuring seamless collaboration between design, engineering, marketing, and operations teams.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead and collaborate with a cross-functional team of 4-6 direct reports and other internal experts to drive successful product launches.
- Brand Advocacy: Champion the value of our products both internally and externally, helping to communicate the brand's vision and product offerings to key stakeholders.
- Innovative Thinking: Partner with technology and product teams to ensure that we remain at the cutting edge of innovation in the luxury hospitality and travel sectors.
What We're Looking For
- Industry Expertise: A proven track record in the hospitality, travel, or luxury services sector, with deep experience in product development and management.
- Product Development Success: Demonstrated ability to lead the development, launch, and management of products or services, including ownership of business cases and product cost management.
- Strategic Vision: Experience in developing product strategies, building roadmaps, and evaluating multiple options to make informed recommendations.
- Customer-Centric Design: Expertise in designing exceptional, personalised customer experiences that prioritise exclusivity and high-quality service standards.
- Innovation Savvy: Knowledge of emerging technologies and innovations in the luxury travel and hospitality space.
- Leadership Skills: Strong cross-functional leadership capabilities, with experience managing teams and delivering complex projects that meet or exceed client expectations.
