Job description

We are seeking an expert Web Developer to develop and maintain several modern, SEO-optimized web properties.

Responsibilities:

• Work with senior stakeholders and transform Figma designs into responsive, functional web pages that reflect our design language and brands.

Skills/Qualifications:

• 5+ years of web development experience.
• Expert with HTML, CSS, SCSS, Bootstrap, React/next.js Tailwind, Webpack (or similar), JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Experience working with 11ty, Hugo, or similar static site builders.
• Experience with CMS and Git-based web development.

Technical Expertise:

• Proven Experience: With over 5 years in web development, they have a deep understanding of HTML, CSS, SCSS, Bootstrap, Tailwind, Webpack (or similar), JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Framework Expertise: They have extensive experience with React and Next.js, enabling them to build dynamic, high-performance web applications with modern Front End technologies.
• Static Site Proficiency: They have hands-on experience with static site generators such as 11ty, Hugo, or similar, allowing them to build highly performant and scalable websites.
• SEO Optimization: They are well-versed in SEO best practices, ensuring that all web properties are optimized for search engines and deliver exceptional performance.

Design and Development Skills:

• Responsive Design: They excel at transforming Figma designs into fully responsive and functional web pages that adhere to our design language and brand standards.
• Pragmatic Tool Selection: They adopt pragmatic development practices: use frameworks when they provide clear benefits, but leverage site builders and simpler solutions when frameworks like React are unnecessarily complex.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Stakeholder Engagement: They effectively collaborate with senior stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver solutions that meet business objectives.
• Clear Communication: They possess strong communication skills, enabling them to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical team members.

Tools and Workflow:

• CMS and Git: They have extensive experience with CMS and Git-based web development, ensuring seamless version control and collaborative workflows.
• Problem-Solving: They demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills, with a meticulous attention to detail and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
