Job Title: Health, Safety, and Wellbeing (HSW) Manager

Location: Snowdonia

Salary: 65,000 to 75,000 per annum
Plus car or car allowance

We are looking for an experienced HSW Manager to lead the health and safety efforts on their Projects. You will provide leadership and support to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all individuals involved. Your role will be pivotal in maintaining compliance with legislation and company procedures, as well as driving continuous improvement in health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Establish and provide leadership in best practices for safety, health, and sustainability

Advise and support project directors, managers, and supervisors in performing their health and safety responsibilities.

Ensure management controls are in place so that all personnel are aware of their statutory duties and responsibilities.

Lead site management teams to ensure compliance with company policies and statutory provisions.

Conduct regular inspections, audits, and surveillance of sites and workplaces.

Lead and oversee accident/incident investigations and analyze data to make recommendations for improvement.

Manage and review health and safety statistics to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Develop and implement health and safety campaigns, improvement plans, and lessons learnt sessions.

Prepare and review health and safety plans, procedures, and method statements.

Maintain accurate records to ensure compliance with legislation and company procedures.

Skills and Qualifications:

Comprehensive understanding of health, safety, and wellbeing practices in the construction industry.

Strong leadership and communication skills.

Ability to advise and support senior management and project teams.

Experience in conducting audits, inspections, and incident investigations.

Knowledge of health and safety legislation and regulations.

Ability to develop and implement health and safety strategies and campaigns.

CSCS card qualification.

Experience in managing health and safety on large-scale construction projects.

Qualifications in health and safety (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) would be desirable
