Salary Range: £38,092 to £45,389 pro-rata, per annum (inclusive of £3,000 per annum market supplement for Senior Social Workers)

Work Location: Andover, hybrid working (home and office based)

Hours per week: 18.5

Contract type: Permanent

The Role:

Joining our Older Adults Team as a Qualified Social Worker, you'll be innovative, person-centred and committed to working in a strengths-based way.

You'll enjoy working in a team that thrives on supporting each other in your work, sharing experiences and learnings to encourage continuous improvement. We have varied experience and backgrounds across the team with regular opportunities for training and ongoing development.

Whether you're an experienced Social Worker, looking to stretch yourself and take on a new challenge, returning to Social Work after a break, or recently qualified looking to kickstart your career, we would love to hear from you. Our newly qualified Social Workers are paid at £33,951 per annum, pro rata for the first year of employment.

Your duties and responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of individuals' needs, strengths, and risks
• Triage safeguarding referrals and make decisions.
• Manage a complex caseload whilst providing supervision for Case Workers and Senior Case Workers and practice advice on complex cases.
• Build positive and professional relationships.

What we are looking for in a Qualified Social Worker:

• Qualified Social Worker and registered with Social Work England (SWE).
• A sound understanding of how to apply a strengths-based approach.
• Understanding of social work issues, legal frameworks and social services' statutory duties.
• Commitment to demonstrating the organisation's values and behaviours.

Travel Requirements

You will be required to travel to various locations within Hampshire or other local authority, and it is essential that you have a current drivers' licence and access to a reliable vehicle on a regular basis.
