Introduction


Our client, a leading retail company in the optical industry, is currently seeking a Helpdesk Analyst to join their team. As a Helpdesk Analyst, you will play a crucial role in providing technical support and assisting internal users with IT-related issues. This is a contract position, offering an exciting opportunity to contribute to the smooth operation of our client's IT Service Desk.



Key Responsibilities

  • Responding to and resolving IT-related queries and incidents from internal users
  • Providing excellent customer service and technical support via phone, email, and ticketing system
  • Troubleshooting hardware and software issues, diagnosing and resolving problems
  • Logging and prioritizing incidents and service requests
  • Escalating complex issues to senior team members or other appropriate departments


Job Requirements

  • Experience in an IT Service Desk or Helpdesk Analyst role
  • Strong knowledge of IT systems, hardware, and software
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Customer-focused attitude with a passion for delivering exceptional service
