Accounts Payable Manager required for organisation in Portsmouth on a hybrid basis

An opportunity to work with a growing organisation who are seeking an Accounts Payable Manager in Portsmouth in line with their current growth plans.
Your new role

• Manage the small accounts payable team to support with bookkeeping and setting up payments; invoices, VAT returns etc
  
• Oversee the preparation of cashbooks, journals, and payments
  
• Review of cashbooks, journals, and payments to ensure they are completed to a high standard
  
• Responsible for team management, monitoring deadlines and coaching and developing junior members of staff
  
• Support consistency and standardisation across the wider team, ensuring compliance with standards and requirements
  
• Contribute recommendations for improving the organisation's operations where necessary.
  

What you'll need to succeed

• Part Qualified ACCA/CIMA or Qualified by Experience
  
• Full right-to-work in the UK with experience working in an Accounts Payable Management Role
  
• Strong technical accounting knowledge
  
• Advanced Excel Skills
  
• Experience in a fast-paced role
