Job description

Well established and reputable law firm with offices across Hampshire are seeking a Paralegal to work within their busy Residential Conveyancing Department. This role will be to assist the busy Fee Earner s in their day to day work by providing support and an efficient secretarial and administrative service.

Duties include:

• Assisting fee earners with residential property matters to include freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, shared equity/shared ownership, new homes and part exchange.
• Prepare correspondence and documents to include audio typing using digital dictation.
• Working directly with clients and partners to ensure a seamless service.
• Assisting heavily with post exchange aspects of purchase and sale transactions and seeing them through to completion.
• Assisting with all aspects of post completion matters including title registration and SDLT (Stamp Duty Land Tax) returns.

Desired skills and experience:

• At least 1 years Residential Conveyancing experience.
• Must be within a short commute of the company.
• Fast, accurate typing ability, ideally using digital audio systems.
• Experience of using case management system desirable but not essential.

What they off:

• Full time in the office Monday Friday.
• Standard holiday plus bank holidays.
• Salary depending on experience £24,000 - £26,000
