Job Title: HR Advisor (Employee Relations)

Duration: Until 31/12/2024 (Could be extended)

Location: Southampton (60% onsite)

Clearance: BPSS

Area of Work:

Through the people professionals who work within it, the Human Resources (HR) function helps the client to deliver its corporate strategy, business plan, and people objectives.

The HR Operations team delivers core HR services to the client through four key areas; Resourcing, Pay & Reward, Systems & Data, Employee Relations & Wellbeing.

Role Purpose:

To support with the management of the client's casework provision. This will include the management of key internal and external stakeholders to ensure all formal employee relations in the client is delivered to the required standard and in line with policy, whilst providing a high level of governance.

Essential Minimum Criteria:

Demonstrable up to date knowledge of employment law and HR experience, including casework management.

CIPD qualification (Level 5) or be willing to work towards it.

Ability to engage with a wide range of stakeholders including senior managers and external service providers.

Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to effectively manage shifting priorities.

Special Features of the role (working hours/health standards, etc.)

Regular travel around the UK to attend internal and external meetings, this may require overnight stays.
