Job description

Copello have partnered with an established engineering business based in Fareham, in the recruitment of an Associate Project Manager.

Please note, this role requires candidates to obtain SC Clearance.

Reporting to one of the Project Managers in the team, the purpose of this role is to ensure successful initial, planning, design, execution and closure of contracted tasking and low-complexity projects.

Essential/Desirable Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• Willingness and ability to learn new skills and adapt to new technology and changing environments
• Critical thinking approach to analysing data and driving wider understanding and change
• Understanding and some experience in managing and/or working to deliver low complexity projects
• Ability to understand and apply key information to current and evolving Project Management processes and methodologies
• Excellent communicator with strong influential skills
• Demonstrable understanding of the basic commercial aspects of providing projects against fixed price contracts
• Experience and knowledge of delivery (or assisting with delivery of) and integration of technical projects
• Project Management qualification such as PRINCE2, Agile or APMPMQ

This role offers flexible hybrid working and great progression opportunities. The salary for this position is up to 35K DoE.
