Job Title: Office/Finance Administrator
Location: Borehamwood, Hertfordshire
Salary: Up to 25,000 per annum
Hours: Full-time, 5 days a week (Office-based)


Our client, a dynamic company based in Borehamwood, is seeking a dedicated Office/Finance Administrator to join their expanding finance team.

About the Role:
As an Office/Finance Administrator, you will play a crucial role in managing financial and administrative tasks that keep our client's operations running smoothly. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to contribute to a vibrant team.

Key Responsibilities:
Finance Administration: Utilise platform for general finance administration, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with internal and external service level agreements (SLAs).
Bank Reconciliation: Conduct daily bank reconciliations using Excel cashbooks and Xero accounting software.
Payments Processing: Set up internal and external payments through our banking systems and assist with monthly statement processing, including investor interest, commissions, rental income, and bond interest.
Communication Management: Monitor and respond to communications in the shared accounts inbox.
Cash Reporting: Manage internal cash balance reporting and process supplier invoices in line with payment terms.
Expense Handling: Oversee employee expense processing and support the bi-weekly payment run.
Process Improvement: Collaborate with the tech team to enhance platform processes and assist with various finance-related tasks as needed.

Ideal Candidate:
Core Skills: Strong organisational and administrative abilities with proficient Excel and spreadsheet skills.
Experience: At least six months of experience in an office environment.
Interest in Finance: A genuine interest in finance, numbers, and accounting, though formal finance or accounting qualifications are not required.
Self-Starter: A proactive, enthusiastic approach to taking on new responsibilities and contributing to a growing team.
