We are incredibly thrilled to be working with a wonderful education organisation who are searching for an Alumni Relations and Development Officer.

This role will support a busy Development Office, and will help to manage a programme of communications, the administration of the database, and support with a range of events. As part of the role, you will develop the social media accounts of the organisation, working to create a communications schedule which covers posts on social media platforms, increasing engagement. The postholder will develop and update the Foundation section of the website to provide information to alumni and other interested parties. You will also maintain accurate financial records, and keep track of merchandise stock levels, recording purchases and sourcing new products.

There is scope to make this role your own, and they are open to a range of background experiences and are willing to provide training and support to grow into the role.

To be successful in the role of Alumni Relations and Development Officer, you will need:

  • Excellent organisation skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience using fundraising or alumni CRM e.g. Toucan Tech, with ability to manipulate and update the database.
  • Sophisticated and persuasive writing style, tailored to suit a variety of audience, with brilliant computer skills including Excel.

Salary: £28,000 £30,000

Contract: 1 year FTC, full-time
Location: St Albans/Hertfordshire
