This is a fantastic opportunity for a candidate looking to progress their career within HR within a growing company that can offer study support for a CIPD qualification.

You will be working for a fast-growing, exciting company based in central St Albans. They operate in modern open plan offices with free parking!

The HR Administrator is responsible for ensuring all administration linked to the Human Resources department is up to date on a day-to-day basis and supporting the HR Team in delivery of the full cycle of HR activities.

This role will suit an experienced administrator who thrives in a fast-paced environment looking to progress their career in HR.

Key responsibilities:

  • Administration of joiners and leavers, completing full onboarding and offboarding process
  • Ensure accurate and timely preparation, collation and filing of all offer documentation and contracts
  • In conjunction with HR Advisors/Manager organise job adverts, assist in shortlisting candidates and keeping ATS updated with process.
  • Liaise with recruitment sources and candidates to arrange and coordinate interviews
  • Meet and greet candidates attending interviews with a warm welcome and offer of beverage.
  • Maintenance of online HR filing system including transfer and disposal of records according to retention schedules and policies
  • Assisting with pension and benefits processing in conjunction with the HR Manager
  • Assist in the preparation of Payroll, ready for checking and sending to the Payroll company
  • Manage online training platforms, ensuring courses are completed as required, and liaising with providers to enable best use of the system, providing regular reports and chasing any mandatory training when necessary.
  • Answering telephone HR enquiries
  • Managing HR generic mailboxes and distributing to the relevant team member for action.
  • Pro-actively create and distribute monthly communications
  • Take notes in monthly HR Meetings
