We are now looking for our new Head of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion on a permanent basis to provide organisation-wide leadership for Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion for the University. As our Head of EDI you will be building and maintaining an effective strategy to promote an inclusive culture for staff and students at UCA, whilst ensuring an effective response to our legal and regulatory requirements.

Working as part of our People & Culture department and reporting into the Assistant Director of People & Culture, you will act as advocate for and influencer of an inclusive University culture, founded on the principles of equality, diversity and inclusion and co-created through effective networking with staff and students across UCA.

The main role responsibilities include:
Working closely with our Leadership Team as our strategic lead for EDI, collaborating and influencing to senior level.
Leading and advising on EDI matters and acting as a key advocate for promoting an inclusive University culture.
Developing and maintaining action plans to achieve ambitious EDI targets.
Creating policies and programmes to foster an inclusive culture and meet regulatory commitments.
Partnering with Academic Schools and Departments on EDI initiatives and develop tailored learning programs.
Providing data to help Academic Schools and Departments understand the diversity of their students and staff.
Delivering information, advice, and training on EDI-related topics to staff and students.
