Job description

Do you have the ability to influence decision making at a senior level whilst enjoying working in the day-to-day operational HR? Can you use data effectively to inform decisions, mitigate risk and drive change? This could be the ideal contract for you! You will be working reporting to the Director of People and Culture and managing a Senior HR administrator. You will be required for an immediate start and can be considered for a perm opportunity within this well-respected, values-led organisation.

This Senior HR Business Partner role is a 4-6 Month FTC and offers Hybrid working

Key responsibilities for this HR Business Partner role include:

  • Provide professional strategic HR advice and operational guidance to managers and staff covering all People & Culture matters, in line with policy, legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Deputise for the Director of People and Culture in their absence, taking any necessary decisions required during that period.
  • Promote and enrich culture change in line with values.
  • Take a lead role in driving organisational change to meet the strategic objectives.
  • Develop pragmatic solutions to specialist, diverse and/or complex problems where little or no precedent exists, in line with policy and legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Apply operational information & data from a variety of sources, including external best practices, to inform decision making and advice.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues on a variety of employee relations matters, managing through to a resolution.
  • Take ownership of the development of employee resourcing and talent management, ensuring all departments are resourced effectively.
  • Develop appropriate management learning and development initiatives to ensure managers at all levels have the relevant skills they need to manage performance, capability and conduct issues
  • Advise managers on implementing successful organisational reengineering and proactively support change management processes.
