Electrical Engineer South East Region

£30k - £40k DOE + Overtime + Van + Fuel Card + bens

Monday Friday, 40 hours per week (8am 5pm)

We are working with a fantastic business who offer a range of waste and waste water disposal and processing solutions across Kent, Essex and the South East. Due to continued growth and expansion, they are currently in need of self-motivated and hardworking Engineers to join them on a full time, permanent basis.

Working as an Electrical Engineer for this successful company, no two days will be the same!

You will be paid door to door, travelling to customer sites in your company van, all based across the South East, and often returning to the same job for a length of time.

On site, you may be working in confined or hazardous spaces, and will be responsible for:

  • Investigation, diagnostics and fault finding across a range of liquid waste systems including pump equipment, pipework, drainage systems and plant equipment
  • General repair and maintenance
  • PPM
  • Problem solving
  • Communicating clearly and effectively to the customer where necessary
  • Answering on call requests on a rota basis
  • Working collaboratively as a team
  • All associated administration
  • Ensuring you are working in accordance with all Health and Safety regulations

To be successful in applying for this Electrical Engineer role you will have/be:

  • Qualified to Level 3 in an Electrical discipline
  • Experience in a transferrable role
  • A desire to develop a career
  • A full driving licence
  • Knowledge of mechanical control systems, communication systems, sensors, pumps, motors and gearboxes
  • A pro-active, positive attitude to work
  • A desire to develop and upskill long term
  • Proven your reliability and employability through a solid working history
  • Any experience within waste water treatment/disposal would be a distinct advantage
