PFI Hard services Manager

A leading FM management services provider is seeking a Facilities Management Technical Manager to support a healthcare PFI project in the South East to manage hard services assets, providing operational and contract management, financial reporting, lifecycle management, and compliance services.

This is an exciting opportunity for a technical professional with experience in PFI projects, looking to advance their career in the healthcare infrastructure sector. You'll play a key role in managing a significant healthcare contract, ensuring operational excellence and contributing to high-profile projects.

The PFI Hard services Manager will primarily be based on-site, supporting the Senior Manager in overseeing service delivery, ensuring contract compliance, and maintaining strong relationships with the contractors, public sector clients, and stakeholders.

Duties Include:

  • Support on all technical facilities management matters affecting project agreements.
  • Monitor hard services Facilities Management contractors and ensure compliance with H&S and statutory obligations.
  • Manage lifecycle costs and project variations in collaboration with contractors.
  • Assist with financial reporting, budgets, and preparing board reports.
  • Ensure all contractual obligations are met, including internal and external assurance checks.
  • Contribute to the development of operational policies and risk management.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree or extensive experience in a technical field (FM/construction)
  • Experience in healthcare contacts - hard FM technical
  • Knowledge of managing PFI projects in the operational phase.
  • Experience with H&S regulations, lifecycle, variations, and insurance processes.
  • Strong contract management and stakeholder relationship skills.
