Job description

A well-established law firm in Kent are looking for an experienced Private Client Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executives to join their team on a full time basis with knowledge of Wills, Probate, Trusts, Lasting Powers of Attorney and Court of Protection.

They are also looking for a Private Client Head of Department/Partner

Duties will include:

• Independently managing own varied caseload of private client matters.
• Responsibility for providing high quality, timely, professional advice on Wills, Probate and Estate administration, Inheritance Planning, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Court of Protection Work, Trusts and some Contentious Probate Work.
• Promoting a compassionate and sensitive disposition client experience when dealing with the elderly or incapacitated.
• Proactively networking and marketing within the team to generate new business and reputation.
• Attending clients in their own environment as required.
• Responsibility for mentoring and assisting more junior team members.
• Maintaining good billings records within the team.

Required Experience:

• The successful Senior Private Client Solicitor will have a minimum of 4+ years PQE with proven experience and knowledge in the preparation of Wills, Probate, Trusts, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Court of Protection and matters.
• The Head of Department will have a minimum of 8+ years.
• Self-motivated, self-confident and able to work with minimum supervision.
• Able to work with a full caseload in busy office under supervision.

What they offer:

• Monday Friday 9am 5pm
• Salary dependent on experience for the Senior Private Client Solicitor role £60,000 - £80,000+.
• The Head of Department Salary is competitive dependent experience.
