MidCo Care is a leading provider of health and social care services in SE England.

We are looking to recruit Domiciliary Carers and Support workers in our Home Care and Supported Living provisions. The ideal candidates will need to be of a caring and compassionate nature and possess good written verbal communication skills. You will work with the elderly and individuals that have Learning Disabilities and or Mental Health issues in our supported living services. Full training is provided.

Salary: 23,200.00

Working hours: Full-time 37.5 hours per week

Available shifts: Day time / waking nights and Sleep-Ins

Your duties

To role will entail supporting service users with their daily living aspects, such as,

o Meal preparation

o Accessing the community

o Attending their appointments

o Supporting them with their personal care if required.

o Administering medication if required

o Recording and documenting/ updating records.

You will be responsible for the promotion of Service Users safety and well-being at all times & a commitment to the safeguarding of vulnerable adults.

Job and Person Specifications/Skills

- A full, clean driving licence with , at minimum, 2 years driving experience

- Prior care work experience or care work qualifications

- At minimum, 5 O'level (or equivalent) qualifications

- Excellent written and verbal communcation skills

- Patience and compassion

- Team working, but able to lone work

- Attention to detail
