Job description

The Lodge Coffee House, Kitchen and Bar is part of the Lodge Group and we are looking for an experienced and passionate chef to join our team. We are extremely passionate about our food, our product and our brand and are currently recuiting to add to our fantastic team to help keep up with business needs and growth.

This role with be based mostly at our Tunbridge wells branch with some shifts at our Uckfield branch too.

The role will consist of breakfast and lunch service which we offer 7 days a week, some evening events 1-2 a week and some external event cateing 1 a month on average.

A good understanding of professional kitchens is essential. The correct candidate will be expected to contribute and run a smooth service. Sous Chef level of ability and knowledge is expected.

The company executive chef will work closly with you to ensure full understanding of our business operations and expections.

As mentioned above we operate at a few other sites and would require assistance at our Uckfield branch 1-2 shifts a week until April.

This role is expected to be 35-45 hours a week spread over 7 days. We usually try and offer two days a week off as often as possible.

We work extremely hard to create and maintain a pleasent and positive work environment and are looking for a personalitly that can fit within and contribute towards this.
