Opportunities Available:

  1. Town Planner: As a Town Planner, you will work on a variety of planning projects, supporting senior staff and contributing to the successful delivery of planning applications and appeals. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Preparing and submitting planning applications and appeals.
  • Conducting site appraisals and research.
  • Liaising with clients, local authorities, and stakeholders.
  • Assisting in the preparation of planning reports and statements.
  • Keeping up-to-date with planning policies and regulations.
  1. Senior Town Planner: In this role, you will take on more complex projects and play a key role in client management and business development. Responsibilities include:
  • Managing planning applications, appeals, and related projects.
  • Providing expert advice to clients on planning matters.
  • Preparing and presenting planning reports and documents.
  • Developing and maintaining client relationships.
  • Mentoring junior staff and contributing to their professional development.
  1. Associate Director: As an Associate Director, you will lead and oversee large-scale planning projects, manage a team of planners, and contribute to the strategic direction of the company. Responsibilities include:
  • Leading and managing complex planning projects.
  • Providing strategic advice and solutions to clients.
  • Overseeing the preparation and submission of major planning applications and appeals.
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Contributing to business development and identifying growth opportunities.
  • Leading and mentoring a team of planners.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A degree in Town Planning or a related discipline.
  • Membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) or working towards it.
  • Relevant experience in a planning role, with increasing responsibility for senior roles.
  • Strong knowledge of planning legislation and policy.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • A proactive, solution-oriented approach and the ability to work under pressure.
