Job description

We are seeking a meticulous Pre lit, File Handler (RTA/PI) to join my clients team located in Blackburn. The ideal candidate for the File Handler role will provide administrative support to their legal team and ensure the smooth running of their legal operations as well as managing caseloads.

File Handler Salary:

• £24,000 - £27,000
• Hybrid working
• File Handler

Duties for the File Handler roles but not limited too:

• Assist solicitors with legal research and document preparation
• Manage and organise legal documentation and correspondence
• Pre Litigation
• Manage your own caseload within RTA or PI
• File Handler
• Liaise with clients, courts, and other legal professionals
• Maintain accurate records and databases
• Provide excellent customer service to clients
• Handle general administrative tasks in the legal office
• To ensure that clients are dealt with efficiently and politely and that appropriate legal matters are raised with the fee earner.
• To attend to clients, taking instructions, and conducting letter and telephone enquiries as necessary.
• Assist in the opening of client files and updating their records onto the case management system.
• Provide general administrative support in the following areas: photocopying, faxing, scanning, binding documents and deeds, filing and archiving.

Experience Required for the File Handler role:

• Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably within a legal environment
• Managing caseloads
• File Handler
• Pre Litigation
• Strong analytical skills to review and analyse legal documents
• Exceptional organisational abilities to manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Excellent customer service skills to interact with clients professionally
