ESOL Tutor

Job Title: ESOL Tutor

Location: Bury/Bolton (occasional travel to Salford and Stockport)

Salary: 26,000

Core Purpose:

To provide effective teaching, learning and assessment to adult learners. This will be delivering non accredited ESOL.

Key Responsibilities:

To conduct effective initial assessment for referred learners, identifying accurate starting points and designing appropriate Individual Learning Plans
To deliver accredited qualifications and wider learning in accordance with awarding body and Standguide policies and procedures
To use starting point information to personalise teaching and learning, ensuring that each session includes all learners and meets individual needs with support and challenge
To provide effective verbal and written feedback on learning so that learners make good progress and achieve qualification and wider learning objectives
