Monday to Friday
Sunday to Thursday
Tuesday to Saturday: 06:00-14:00/ 14:00-22:00/ 22:00-06:00
Overtime paid up to 15 an hour
The Gi Group team in Bolton has a fantastic opportunity to work with one of our prestigious food manufacturing Client. Due to business expansion, our client is looking for Skilled Production Operatives, Machine Minders, Cream Room/Bakery Mixer Operatives with opportunity for PERMANENT contract for suitable candidates.
Based on the position you will be require to work in mixing area and help the mixing crew or work on production line setting up machines and completing control documents. You role will involve setting up, organise, increase speed, and other duties in order to produce a consistent product in a timely manner that meets all standards set forth by the client.
Mixing/ Cream Room Operative duties:
Combine all raw materials in proper sequence and sign off that each ingredient has been added and processed for the correct amount of time as outlined in the mixing system (Formula Sheet)
Complete and deliver all batch forms (Formula Sheet) to the Production Manager.
Keep/supervise your work area, tools and supplies, organise and sanitary throughout the shift
Performs other duties as requested by Production Manager.
Verify that all batches are produced on your shift.
Skilled Production Operative duties:
Wrapping, slicing, and packaging bakery products
Decorating, slicing and wrapping finished products
Cleaning machinery and work station
Using modern machinery and technology throughout the process
Complete Production Control Documents
Setting up machines
Job Desirable:
Reading, written and mathematical skills.
Ability to work with a minimum supervision.
Ability to stoop, kneel, climb, reach, stand, walk, push, pull, talk, hear, lift, and perform repetitive motions.
Ability to frequently move objects up to 50 pounds.
Ability to work well with the Mixing Team.
Ability to move from one task to another with minimal distraction.

We are recruiting for various shift patterns working Monday to Friday: 6am-2pm/ 2pm-10pm/ 10pm-6am. You will be also required to work weekends and Bank Holiday in line with production needs.
We offer regular weekly hours with rate of pay between 11.94- 13.13, overtime rate up to 15.00.
