Job description

Apricus Resourcing are working with a luxury nursing home based in Chorley who are looking for a dedicated Care Team Leader (Nights) to join their esteemed team. This role offers an annual salary of £31,362.24, equating to £14.36 per hour, reflecting the value placed on exceptional care and leadership.

Within your role as a Care Team Leader you will be accountable and responsible for the quality of care, effective use of all resources and safety of the homes services. You will be working to ensure compliance with all policies and procedures, in addition to all statutory legislation and Regulatory Standards and will be expected to act as a role model for the team and be an ambassador for the organisation and lead on the effective implementation of the Evermore Care Vision and Values and business strategy.

Key Duties will include:

  • To develop and promote integration between the care team and lifestyle team to provide an engaging range of activities to meet the needs of all residents.
  • To support the development of the Dementia Pathway, by working alongside both the management team and the care team to identify areas of skill development, and coaching the team to develop within these areas.
  • To support the development of the quality of the care planning process, ensuring all care plans and risk assessments are personalised to the individual resident.
  • To support with new resident assessments and support the admission process.
  • To conduct return to work meetings with the Senior Team and the Care Team in a timely manner in line with our HR processes.
  • To undertake designated audits and risk assessments in line with company processes.

  • A compassionate and patient demeanour, with a genuine passion for providing high-quality care.
  • Relevant qualifications in health and social care are highly desirable.
