Job description


Our client, a key player in the Defence and Security sector, is seeking a Functional PMO Co-Ordinator to join their team in Warton. This role lies within the Military, Air & Information (MAI) business unit, focusing on project management operations. This is a contract position with hybrid working arrangements, requiring 2-3 days per week on-site, and a duration of 12 months.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversight and management of all unbalanced hours for direct bookers to PM department costbase.
  • Management of hours in suspense for direct bookers to PM department costbase.
  • Handling expenses charged to the department costbase and challenging incorrect costs as necessary.
  • Attendance at costbase reviews, addressing any discrepancies, and following up on actions.
  • Ownership of Department CPC card, reviewing and querying claims where applicable.
  • Oversight of PMO and Business Operations Team Briefs.
  • Extraction of data from Tableau and creation of reports for review by PMO Manager/ PML.
  • Support in data production for Capabilities PM Functional Resource Reviews.
  • Administration of SharePoint sites ensuring the maintenance of relevant documents and data as per the Information and Records Management policy.


Job Requirements:

  • Understanding of BAE-Project Professional.
  • Experience in costbase management and oversight.
  • Skilled in data extraction and report creation, particularly using Tableau.
  • Strong administrative skills with proficiency in SharePoint site management.
  • Excellent attention to detail and capability to challenge discrepancies.
  • Good organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • BPSS security clearance or eligibility to obtain it.
