Bury

Mon-Fri

AM 06:45-14:45 / PM 15:15-23:15

AM £ 11.54/h / PM £ 12.04/h

Proman is currently looking for Food Production Operatives to work at our Client site located in Bury.

Our Client is one of the UK s leading food producers, supplying major retailers and food service outlets alike.

As a Food Production Operative you will be flexible, enthusiastic and have excellent attention to detail. Your main responsibility as a Food Production Operative will be to carry out a variety of tasks to enable the smooth running of the day-to-day production operation of the site, ensuring the safety, quality and legality of the products being produced, always maintaining high standard.

Due to the nature of the products you will have to:

- Be able to work with meat products (pork, beef).

- Be able to work in a chilled environment

Food Production Operative Key Role & Accountabilities will be:

• Ability to work with meat products (pork,beef).

• Ensure all product specifications and quality standards are being followed

• Ensure all regulations and good practices regarding health and safety, food hygiene, quality standards and personal hygiene

• Produce high quality products focusing on increasing yield and reducing wastage in turn driving Second Nature initiatives

• Work as part of a team and help create a positive working environment

• Establish maintain and demonstrate a good working relationship with your colleagues

• Demonstrate flexibility by being able to carry out a wide variety of production tasks and adapting to the changing needs of production

• Ensure compliance with key company and customer requirements and assist in audits • Work in corporation with the wider team to be part of site culture which drives food safety, H&S, ethical, environmental and energy behaviours

• Prior experience working within the food industry as a Food Production Operative will be valued, but not essential as full training will be provided

• Reliable and have a good absence and timekeeping record

• Ability to communicate, understand and follow instructions and have good attention to detail
