Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Facilities Manager to oversee the daily operations and maintenance of our facilities. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our work environment is safe, efficient, and conducive to productivity for all employees.
This position requires strong leadership skills, a focus on sustainability, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. You will be responsible for developing and implementing maintenance schedules, overseeing repairs and improvements with a degree of hands-on work that will be required and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
The Facilities Manager will collaborate with various departments to understand their needs and provide support, while leading a team of maintenance staff and vendors. Excellent communication and organizational skills are critical to successfully produce and manage budgets, vendor contracts, and project timelines.

Responsibilities
Company compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations across all facilities.
Maintenance Services: Regular upkeep of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and structural maintenance
Security Services: Implementation of security measures, including surveillance, access control, and on-site security personnel
Energy Management: Optimizing energy use to reduce costs and environmental impact.
Rail: Track infrastructure, track maintenance, Rail Fuelling & Controlled Emissions Toilet (CET) maintenance
Planning: Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure optimal operation of building systems and in some instances have a hands-on approach in maintaining compliance monitor and control facility budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
Management: Coordinate with vendors for outsourced services. Collaborate with other departments to assess and fulfil their facility requirements. Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify issues and implement corrective actions in a timely manner
Requirements
Relevant qualification in facilities management, engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in facilities management or a similar role.
Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance protocols, and health & safety regulations.
Proficient in facility management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with team members and external vendors.
Strong problem-solving abilities and proficiency in project management.
