Mobile Smart Repair Technician

Location: Leicester

Shift Pattern: Monday Friday

Salary: OTE of £35,000-£40,000 p/a

Contract Type: Permanent

Igloo is looking for experienced Smart Repair Technicians to join our client s team in Leicester on a permanent basis. The successful candidates will be working on the behalf of an established business who boast the largest network of accredited Smart Repair Technicians in the country.

The Role:

As a Smart Repair Technician, you will carry out repairs on a mobile basis, ensuring that a high-quality service is provided for the customer every time, successful candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to, the below tasks:

  • Deliver a high standard of customer service to all customers.
  • Explain process of the repair to customer before you begin.
  • Always follow health and safety measures.
  • Take card payments.
  • Advise and provide aftercare/ insurance material.
  • Alloy wheel refurbishment.
  • Diamond cut and shadow chrome repairs.
  • Bumper corner repairs.
  • Wing mirror repairs.
  • Painted trim repairs.
  • Panel repairs no more than two panels on one side.
  • Touch in chips on bonnet.
  • Door handle repairs.
  • Report to Technical Operations Manager.

There will be 2 weeks of paid training in Rugby, Warwickshire, accommodation will be provided.

What kind of person are we looking for?

  • The successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate their knowledge, understanding and previous experience of working within a smart repair role.
  • Demonstrate a good and sound understanding of all Smart repair processes.
  • Will need to be hard working and reliable.
  • Have the attitude of producing high quality finishes, first time, every time.
  • Be able to work well under own esteem as well as part of the team.
  • Hold a category B driving licence with no more than 6 points for minor offences.
  • ATA or IMI accredited is desirable but by no means essential.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.
  • Organised with an attention to detail.
