  • Job Title: Primary Teacher (SEN)
  • Location: Leicester City Centre.
  • Contact: Full-time, Temporary.
  • Salary: £150 - £200 per day.
  • Start Date: 3rd September 2024.

  • The Role:
    We are seeking a dedicated, passionate, and experienced Primary School Teacher to join our ever-expanding team of excellent teachers - to support in teaching some of our students with SEMH needs. This is a full-time position with comprehensive teaching responsibilities, including planning, marking.
    Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and effective lessons that cater to the needs of each child with SEN.
  • Assess, record and report on the development, progress and attainment of pupils.
  • Mark pupils' work and provide constructive feedback and guidance for improvement.
  • Implement different behaviour strategies to engage students and manage classroom dynamics.
  • Collaborate with the SENCO and other professionals to ensure all students' needs are met.

  • Essential Criteria:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Proven experience as a SEN teacher in a primary school setting.
  • Knowledge of the UK National Curriculum and the ability to plan differentiated work.
  • A patient and resilient personality with a flexible approach to teaching.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Desirable Criteria:
  • Additional training or qualifications in SEMH, behaviour management, or special education.
  • Experience working in a similar setting.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices in supporting students with SEMH needs.
