Job description

The Recruitment Group are hiring for an Account Manager to run our successful account in Bourne. As an Account Manager you will be require to be able to do the following.

  • Communicate with a workforce with little/no English (current team can cover Russian, Lithuanian, Polish, Bulgarian, Romanian, Latvian)
  • Accurate with data
  • Flexibility, adaptable, the site is seasonal and volatile, orders can vary hugely day to day, site operates 24hrs and 354 days a year.
  • Communication, the ability to hold conversations with the sites GM to a new starter, just in the UK with zero English
  • Ability to work under pressure and a willingness to react positively to the unknown and unplanned.

With a team of supervisor s, the role is to manage a workforce of up to 200 workers a day, across 4 different shift starts, seeing in and out both day and night shift

The role includes:

  • Meeting a greeting staff upon arrival, both bussed & self-sufficient arrivals
  • Signing workers in on timesheets
  • Issuing site access cards
  • Allocating to correct department, right number, right skill, right place, right time
  • Supporting workers through site turnstiles
  • Managing fulfilment, including extra workers booked
  • Topping up any missed shifts from earlier start times, with extra availability from later shift arrivals
  • Liaising with Planning department on additional needs and/or extra workers on site
  • Managing new starters, first day induction & tour
  • Conducting bag searches (nut products, chewing gum & glass check)
  • Managing locker areas, ensuring workers use and leave area s as expected
  • Managing workers through changing rooms, ensuring all policies and processes are adhered to
  • Submitting accurate and completed timesheets to departmental managers
  • Collecting completed timesheets from the night shifts
  • Collect access cards from night shift workers leaving site
  • Managing signing out and recording of hours for night shift workers
  • Re-book workers for the following day, sharing information with supplying office
  • Supporting supplying office with booking
  • Ensuring all workers leave site effectively, no one is left stranded, transport leaves with all travelling on board and accounted for
  • Completing a client daily costing sheet, outlining department charges for the previous day, to be submitted no later than 0900.
  • Check all departments have workers as expected and client is happy with supply
  • Supporting the start and of all worker breaks, ensuring workers return on time, as well as move through changing and washing process as expected
  • Departmental communications & relationships Operations, HSE & Technical, HR, Planning, Leadership Team
  • Managing worker & client issues throughout the shift:

Salary: £27,000
Hours: (Apply online only) (when all is done, can be less, can be more, this varies in peak and off-peak periods)
Shift Pattern: 4 days on, 4 days off
