As a Social Worker you will be responsible for assessing children's needs, support, planning and reviewing the care that young people receive. You will use your specialist knowledge and experience to work with a range of young people, we aspire for children and families to have consistency of Social Worker. Where required, you will co-work more complex young people alongside more experienced Social Workers helping you make the right decisions.

Our practice model is Signs of Safety and this is underpinned by Restorative Practice, working with a strengths based approach with the young people, their family and their network. Where plans are child centred with the voice of the child being at the heart of all their plans.

You will receive monthly formal professional and case supervision; take part in monthly service development work shops and also participate in monthly team meetings. Your continued professional development will be as important to us as it is to you, and you're learning and development will remain a focus throughout the year, not just during your annual appraisal. We offer a competitive salary of £34,314 - £41,511 + 7% attraction and retention payment paid monthly and we will pay for your annual SWE registration and also have the opportunity to participate in a 9 day fortnight working pattern.
