The vacancy

We are seeking a passionate and proactive Higher Education Student Recruitment Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in attracting and enrolling a diverse student population, with a strong focus on outreach to underrepresented communities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Outreach and Engagement:
    • Develop and execute outreach strategies to engage prospective students from diverse backgrounds.
    • Build and nurture relationships with schools, colleges, and community organizations.
    • Attend college fairs, community events, and deliver presentations to promote DN Colleges' Higher Education programs.
  • Recruitment Activities:
    • Participate in both on-campus and off-campus recruitment events.
    • Provide guidance on the application process, financial aid, and student life to prospective students.
  • Marketing and Communication:
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to create and distribute promotional materials.
    • Utilise social media and digital tools to engage with prospective students.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting:
    • Track and analyse recruitment data to improve outreach efforts.
    • Prepare regular reports on recruitment activities and trends.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork:
    • Work closely with Admissions and academic teams to ensure a smooth transition for students from recruitment to enrolment.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Experience in student recruitment, outreach, or related field.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple tasks.

This role is permanent, part time (14 hours per week, Monday & Friday)

As part of the recruitment process and in line with keeping children safe in education, we will conduct social media checks on shortlisted candidates. Additionally, before commencing employment, all employees undergo safer recruitment checks, including an enhanced DBS.
