International Business Development Manager

Hybrid Role

Salary: DOE but very competitive,

This is an exciting and challenging role, suited to a Business Development Manager who brings a unique blend of skills. We are looking for someone dynamic and opportunistic, a strategic thinker who remains calm under pressure, acts with professionalism, and results driven.

Experience in the military/defence industry is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a strategic growth plan for clients and their business
  • Identify, manage, and cultivate new business prospects.
  • Generate leads through your network, expertise, leveraging current tools and exploring additional resources.
  • Set and track measurable objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs) for the business.
  • Regularly engage with prospects and clients remotely, and face-to-face meetings.
  • Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitor activities, and growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with the marketing team to design and execute effective lead generation campaigns.
  • Present to clients through both virtual platforms (Teams) and in-person meetings.
  • Prepare and deliver detailed quotations.
  • Represent the agency at industry conferences and events, building valuable connections.
  • Oversee the client onboarding process, ensuring a smooth transition and high satisfaction levels.
  • Build and nurture strong client relationships to boost retention and encourage referrals.
  • Manage and maintain databases and CRM systems, ensuring up-to-date client information.

Key Skills:

  • You should have a strong background in business development
  • You should have proven expertise in utilising digital platforms to drive growth and build lasting relationships.
  • You will be eager to expand the business by leveraging various channels to attract new clients as well as retaining and nurturing existing ones.
  • A willingness to travel both domestically and internationally is essential.
  • You will attend key exhibitions and explore new exhibitions, fostering meaningful and strategic relationships.
