Our client is a leading, specialist, contractor focussed on delivering bespoke fit out solutions and high-quality design and installation of HVAC systems across various public and private sector projects.
The Project
As an experienced Electrical Project Manager, you will have a key role in leading the design and installation process of HVAC systems across various commercial, education and industrial new build and fit-out projects.
Requirements
For this role it is essential that you carry the following professional qualifications as a minimum;
- SMSTS
- CSCS / JIB / ECS
- First Aid - Desirable not essential
It is also essential that you hold the experience below;
- Proven industry expertise with a track record of successfully managing electrical packages on commercial, industrial, education or healthcare projects
- Extensive background within the industry with at least 5 years of experience working in an Electrical Project Manager or similar position for a leading contractor or subcontractor

Duties
- Provide expert electrical knowledge
- Management of electrical supervisors
- Maintain health and safety standards on site
- Overall responsibility of electrical workers on site
- Address issues that may impact project deadlines
- Perform comprehensive project reviews and evaluations
- Oversee project expenditures to ensure budget compliance
- Develop detailed cost estimates and budgets for the project
- Address any client concerns or issues promptly and professionally
- Recognise possible risks and formulate strategies to mitigate them
- Track project timelines and ensure compliance with the project schedule
- Uphold consistent and efficient communication with all project contractors
- Generate valuations, payment applications, invoices, and similar documents
- Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment
- Create detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation
- Supervise daily project activities and ensure all tasks are advancing according to plan
- Determine and assign essential resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials
- Ensure the scope of work aligns with the contract documents, client inquiry and design criteria
- Perform routine inspections and audits to verify adherence to industry standards and regulations
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and designers to develop the electrical system's blueprint
- Guide and inspire project teams, ensuring clarity on roles and responsibilities for all team members
- Offer consistent project updates and progress reports to clients, management, and other relevant parties
- Procurement of materials, allocation of labor, and reporting on draft final accounts and anticipated profits
- Ensure precise and current project documentation, encompassing plans, schedules, budgets, and reports
- Ensuring electrical projects are completed efficiently, safely and within the defined scope, time and budget
- Coordinate with engineering teams, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution
- Establish and uphold quality control standards to guarantee that project deliverables meet the specified requirements
- Efficiently oversee projects from initial client instruction through to final handover, ensuring readiness for client occupancy
- Develop and consistently revise a work schedule that identifies long lead items, incorporating time for design, client feedback, and other relevant considerations
- Collaborate with partner professionals and suppliers to coordinate designs, including equipment selections and other relevant aspects
- assess current and proposed installations, engaging with the client team
- Develop the post-contract health and safety file, ensuring that all required RAMS are established and effectively utilized
- Consistently and regularly monitor the project's commercial aspects using P&Ls, and effectively communicate projected forecasts to the management team
- Manage client inquiries, obtain landlord approval, and submit building regulations, encompassing specifications, drawings, and work schedules
